Overwatch Xbox - Can't join Team Chat

Hi All,

I'm not sure if everyone is having this problem but when solo queueing I like to join the Team Chat (not party chat) to speak to other players.

All of my settings are set to "Auto Join" but I can no longer hit the left bumper in the "Select Hero Screen" when loading into a game to join the chat with my team.

I've checked my reputation / enforcement and there are no problems. Anybody know what's going on?

It seems to have been lost after the last update where the Halloween event finished.

Reported for no reason

so I was playing overwatch and then gave helpful advice in team chat and then some random person messaged me saying I had been muted and reported so if anyone from xbox could unreport me it would be very helpful and also make it so that you can't get reported
for no reason

Halo 4 Servers Not Available?

Still not fixed... Can't join any games. I can join my friends chat party, he can join a game, but I'm stuck on an isolated network with 114 players in Big Team :-(

Had the same issue, never figured it out, it's so freaking random. Just muted my self or talked to buddies in different chat.

I was a fan of Kinect Sports, but TBH, I probably would not join Overwatch League to compete as a team.

Hey there, if this problem still persists I have a few things you can try.

Make sure you have team chat turned on, to do this launch your game and go to options > sounds > Team voice chat and set it to auto join, also make sure your match voice chat is turned on.

Make sure if you have parental controls on that they aren't prohibiting your ability to speak and hear others online.

Make sure you aren't in a party

Can't say for sure and it may be unrelated but there is a major glitch in Overwatch currently which is muting mics.

I think they should start with that and then allow you to switch to "squad chat" or have everyone in "team chat" until they chose to join a squad. The communication in this game is S H I T and I can't think of a war that was won without great communication.

It already goes like that. If you join a squad, you'll automatically go into squad chat. If you're a lone wolf, you're in team chat until you join a squad.
