    Overwatch stuck in trial mode


    Hello,

    I have a problem regarding overwatch. In 2018 or 2017 I bought a physical copy of the game, the origins edition one, and the game worked fine till maybe mid-early 2019, I have tried everything from hard resets, setting my xbox as my home console to reinstalling
    the game and nothing works.

    Also, for some reason i have checked my purchase history and the game doesn t show up.

    The error message that pops up says:Francesco836, enjoy your trial

    Gamertag:Francesco836

    Also, I have to mention there is a very tiny scratch on the disc but i don t think that should be the cause of this.

    When the console is offline, the game won't download automatically, but i can see it on my home screen, so i click on it and then i get error 0x8b050066, so i think it may be a problem with the disc.

    Tried to uninstall and install again? Do you have more than one account logged into the console?

    Hi there,

    if you bought the physical copy of the game, which means Disc based game, then it is normal for the purchase not to be shown on your purchase history, since it wasn't a digital game purchase, unless you bought the disc via your Microsoft Account.

    1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
    2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

    3. Redownload your profile

    ​ if that fails, then you can also try to uninstall the game, then perform the steps again and after redownloading your profile, disconnect the console from internet and install the game via the Disc.

    When installation is complete, reconnect the console to internet and restart the console. After that try to start the game.
