    Overwatch - Origins Edition - No "in game goodies"


    I recently pre purchased overwatch origins edition on my xbox one using the xbox marketplace and did not receive the bonus in game goodies promised for the other blizzard games. For example the Hearthstone card back. I thought by now i would have received
    a code or have it unlocked on my battlenet account as i have my xbox live account linked. I realize that the overwatch extras wont be available until release but a lot of the other bonuses have been active on the other blizzard games for some time.

    Hey Kodeplay -

    According to the information I can find from >>Blizzard<< themselves, it appears that the extra content was for those who pre-ordered
    the PC version of Overwatch. As this is all in-game content provided by Blizzard, they would be the ones best suited to assist as we do not have any information on that content.

    Hey, Prime Iron! Overwatch isn't in Beta on the Xbox yet, and it only was on the PC. Any issues with in-game items in the Beta of the game will need to be directed to
    Blizzard. Thanks for understanding!

    Q. What if I digitally pre-purchase Origins Edition from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Games Store?

    A. Players who digitally pre-purchase Origins Edition from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Games Store will be eligible to receive their in-game goodies starting on May 24.

    In order to claim the Origins Editions digital bonuses, though, players will need to first link their Battle.net account with their PlayStation Network account or their Xbox
    Live account. Once linked, a notification will appear upon launching Overwatch allowing players to unlock all bonuses on their designed Battle.net account.

    It doesn't look like Overwatch bonuses go out for console pre-orders until the 24th of May. Take a look over at

    Your best bet is to return to Best Buy with your receipt and explain the issue, you should be given a new copy .
