Overwatch Early Access

i was sent here by chat support (Phes was the person's name) and was told to make a post saying i Preordered April 22nd and haven't received my code for the early access yet. My account email is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and my gamer tag is . i did receive
the friend code but not the one for myself. Now, twitter support told me that because i digitally preordered i won't need a code and should just be able to download the client when its up, then be able to play when the OW early access servers are up. Phes,
however, told me that i DO in fact need a code and i should post here about it. so, here i am.

If you pre-ordered Overwatch from the Xbox Store, the Overwatch Beta will be unlocked in the Xbox Store. If you have already pre-ordered, go ahead and search for 'Overwatch Beta' through the Xbox Store to begin installing! For more information, please check

hi, yes if you have pre ordered you may not receive the code as it will be linked to your account via the pre order.

however have you tried this?

Xbox One

•Turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live account.

•Go to the Xbox One Store, select “Games,” then select “Search All Games.”

•In the search field, type in “Overwatch.”

•Select “Overwatch Open Beta” from the search results and then click “Download.”

•Once the download and installation process is complete, click “Launch” to begin.

 

Hi stevie. I'm not currently home so it may have changed but I did this yesterday due to a suggestion. I saw that few of us did. When we do this, we do not have the option to download. It says bundle only.

 

I have the game installed, which happened immediately after purchase. I see the same thing "bundle only" when I try and download the BETA. I, however, have not received the code for a friend. Did you get that via email, or Xbox message?
