Overturning a suspension

I got suspended because I sent a message to a gamer who was harassing me while I was trying to complete an objective on destiny 2. I don’t think it’s fair that I got in trouble when I was minding my own business. On his profile it even said that he needed
work on his social skills or something of that nature. My reference number is SR: 1434162254. I was gaming with my buddy before he gets deployed so it is urgent that I get what little time I can with him.

Forced to change Gamertag

A simple google search of the second word in the tag will give you a hint as to why it was given an FNC. You can post in the suspension forum for an official response from the enforcement team but the chances of them overturning their decision are slim.

Be sure you read over the Code of Conduct before choosing the next tag. If you continue to create offensive tags you could be at risk for a permanent suspension.

Banned xbox live account

Yes you need to post in the correct forum to get any response but they are just going to tell you what you did to get the ban. Overturning a ban is probably not gonna happen.

General rule of thumb is to not give the opportunity or perception for someone to report you, many issues have occurred where there have been some harassers as you call them and the retaliatory response is the one that gets reported and enforced. The best
thing to do if someone is indeed doing something that is offensive is to report them via their gaming tag and leave it to the Enforcers to take care of it. No need for you to drop down to their level.

Try removing the GT from the console and then power cycling the console.

Restart it and then recover the gamertag back to see if that fixes the issue.

Unfortunately, that didn't help. I don't think it's something on my end, because two different support agents said that I would have to wait until the 22nd for my console suspension to end. Thanks for trying to help though!

If your suspension was overturned it wasn't because of any post you made on the forums.

The enforcement team don't use the forums & they are the only ones who can overturn a ban or suspension.
