    Overcooked 2 gamepass for pc online multiplayer not working as of Jan. 21 2022?


    My friend and I were both playing online multiplayer through the gamepass for pc version of Overcooked 2 just fine recently and all of the sudden we try to play it on Jan. 22 2022 and it's no longer working. If I go to invite someone it just says networking error, and if I choose Online public under the Arcade tab on the main screen it just says game not found repeatedly. Also, when I attempted to find anything about this issue it's as if the only thing I can find is that it never did support online multiplayer in the first place?? Then how the heck have my friend and I been playing for about a week now via gamepass for pc? Doesn't make any sense.

    For pc, overcooked 2 only supports online co-op via steam. Windows via gamepass has no online functionality and only supports local co-op.

    buying the game on steam for pc.

    Hello! As of right now there is no cross platform play for overcooked 2. You can only play online with other pc users.

    if its the windows 10 version on gamepass for pc then there is no multiplayer, we all waited for ages for a fix then decided to buy on steam as it does not work on gamepass full stop.
