Overall Headset Volume Low

Hi there, I am having a recently discovered problem with gaming headsets. I have recently just bought HyperX Cloud IIs and they are lower in volume than my earbuds (Sony Xtrabass, which are $40CAD). When at the same volume, the earbuds are louder on BOTH
controllers I own (One is a generation 1 with chat adapter, and the 2nd is a Combat Tech with 3.5mm jack). I thought maybe the headset was defective, so I exchanged it for another one... and then another one... and then another one, with no solution to the
problem. We concluded that it was not possible that 3 consecutive headsets were defective. I brought the Xbox into the Microsoft store closest to me and they helped me and did everything they could, yes we could not figure out why they are quieter than my
earbuds. I had 2 people at the store confirm that the earbuds were LOUDER than the headset (which was $130CAD!) and I am not sure what else I can do to problem solve. ALL HEADSETS (Kraken V2 Pros, Turtle Beach Recon 200, Turtle Beach 50X etc) were quiet in
comparison to the earbuds at THE SAME VOLUME.

I would love to try and fix this problem, as someone out there MUST have had the same problem as me. What else can I do to problem solve BEFORE trying to get an amp to plug into?

Would getting an amp from either Turtle Beach or Astro aid in my problem?

Razer Chimaera 5.1 audio problem?

Is the chat volume on the Chimaera too low or could it be that my headset it defected? The chat volume will only increase with the overall volume, but it's usually drowned by the game audio. Anyone else have issues with this?

in game voice very low .... XBOX ONE query/help ....

with headset on highest chat seems very low compared to overall game sound (and the volume on my TV is at a normal level) its the same with Kinect and recalibrated it etc ... tried using different sound setups on settings (5.1, stero etc) ... any tips
? cant see both the headset and Kinect being faulty !

For some reason the voices during movies or cut scenes are extremely low. If I adjust my volume they don't change and everything else goes up or down. I tried changing my audio settings and nothing works. If I put it on mono then everything works as it should but the overall volume is still low.

Are you using a wireless headset plugged into the controller? I find that, without an audio adapater, the general volume level is pretty poor, whether it be through my expesnive headset or my cheap in-ear headphones

I believe low TV volume is intentional. A web search indicates that you may have more volume control if using an Xbox headset.

Hi no its definitely not a headset issue as i can only change the overall volume and reducing that only maked the in game volume even harder to hear. I am tryig to just reduce party volume but cant reduce it further without it being muted completely.

Is this your headset volume so low or through TV speakers?

Interference, distance from the audio source, or low battery levels may cause fluctuations in volume using a headset. Ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, wired connection and keep your headphones within the recommended range, & charged to full for optimal volume performance

You can adjust your headset settings on the Audio & music screen: Press Xbox home - Select the Audio & music icon at the bottom of the guide. Headset volume: This can also be adjusted by rotating the dial on the outside of the earcup of your headset.

Check your TV settings there could be a 'Game mode' setting when playing which naturally turns down your volume. The quick and easy steps usually provide a solution! Best of luck.
