outriders update 12 gigs .... then Vanished

It should take about 5 hours plus the 12 GIG update that it requires to play for Online gaming.

Nope I mean Wednesday it took something stupid like 12-13 hours to download 7 gig update the other day as there's something wrong with our internet lol and as I heard this is a 20 gig update god knows how long it will tale

Yes I did that bit and found the hacker guy in that rooftop. I have now deleated the game and re installed it. HOWEVER it will not let me play it until the 12 GIG UPDATE has re downloaded also. WHAT A JOKE. On my broadband speed I will be ready to try this
again TOMMOROW. 12 GIG UPDATES SHOULD NOT be alowed to happen. MS/ CV please address this in future.

I had the exact same problem with RDR2. Downloaded a 92 Gig update, played the game, and the next day the 92 Gig update was back again. This has been happening to me for about 12 months, with games like MCC, Fifa 18, Forza Horizon 3, BO4, Ghost Recon Wildlands,
Warframe, GTA 5 and multiple others. Have found no way to fix the problem

If and when I ever get an Xbox One (still on the fence) ill probably go with Disks over downloads as the games are massive roughly 20-30 gigs and to top it off 5-12 gig of updates as well. Not good for the home internet download quota if I went digital.
Download quota is one of main reasons I am still on the fence as with just game updates alone is troublesome.
