Outriders - after update the game wont open

I have done both of those - still the same. At this point I can only believe it is a buggy update that they need to address.

Akix3 was on the right path I believe, as I was on the East Anti-Cheat website and its troubleshooting said the same thing. The problem is this is NOT Steam or Epic, but MS Xbox and they won't allow you to execute that file because its not the main .exe. Honestly, the file system is too locked down in situations like this.

Hi there Dragon welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Have you tried logging off and on the Xbox app? I had the "Anti-cheat" issue before and that has helped me or another thing that could help is reinstalling the app! So, I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

It won't let me do that, even though I'm the Admin on this PC. It says it can't access the folder or file...its because this was all install via the Xbox App through Game Pass and they have EVERYTHING locked down...I had to do some permissions work just to be able to access and see the folders.

Try going to the to the "EasyAntiCheat" folder inside of the game's installation folder and locate "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe". Launch it as administrator and choose 'Install'. Maybe it got uninstalled during the update.

After researching it seems some users are having the same problem! It seems we will need to wait for an update.
