outlook.com crashing on xbox one

I'm sorry you're having issues regarding your Microsoft account. I understand this can be frustrating.

Please follow these steps to try to recover your password/account with these steps: You can't sign in to your Microsoft account

That includes Tips for completing the online account recovery form such as

Provide an alternate email address that you can access. We’ll send the password reset link to that email once we have validated your account ownership.

Answer as many questions as you can:

• When thinking of past passwords, provide as many as you can for us to check, even if you aren’t sure they’re correct.
  
• Think back to when you created the account or last updated it. Have you moved since you created the account? Changed your name?
  
• When answering the Xbox questions:
  
  • Gamertag questions are not case-sensitive.
    
  • Tell us which console your account has been used on the most.
    
  • Console IDs and device IDs can be found in your console settings even if you’re not signed in.
    

If those solutions don't work, You can request a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website. If you are facing any issues with that, please go through Microsoft support. Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list. Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue. If you don't see the options to request a call back or chat with support, change your category/topic until you do.

You don't you can only change external emails alias

Your ms account and outlook.com emails are one and the same and this includes hotmail as it is under the outlook.com services umbrella

my primary account alias was @outlook.com.

Looking in the Security Log when signing in (and Minecraft crashing) on the event - click details, and it shows;

TargetName MicrosoftAccount:*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

So, logged in my Microsoft account, changed the primary alias from @outlook.com to @live.co.uk (what is mentioned above) and it worked. Able to sign into Minecraft.

This is the outlook.com forum, not the xbox forum.

So if you migrate your email to outlook.com, your Xbox account doesn't automatically change?

I thought all Microsoft services would change to the new outlook.com email?
