    Sorry if I sound stupid but I can't find any answers... Basically when my friends try to join me they get 'Could not connect: Outdated Server!' but I can join them fine... Can anyone help?? Thanks!

    Minecraft beta

    So I'm in the xbox insider hub and I have the mc beta, my friend also got it but every time I try to join her it says "cant connect, outdated server" and when she tried to join me it said "cant connect outdated client" I'm on v1.2.0.25 she's on v1.2.0.20.
    is there a way to fix this?

    i play minecraft on windows {a pc} and so dose my friend we load up and see eachother online but we try to connect and it says server outdated can anyone plz help

    There was the Pillagers update today, I recommend that you both make sure you have any updates downloaded as this would prevent you playing with one another if you're on different versions.

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. We'd be happy to help but some more information with the situation would be helpful.

    What device do you use to play Minecraft and is your game fully updated? Do both of you have Minecraft (bedrock edition) with the Better Together update that allows cross play?

    Are both of you using the same type of device?

    What happens if your friend tries to join your game?

    Give us some more detailed information and we'd be happy to help you solve this.

    Hi there,

    We would be very happy to assist you but can you provide us some more detail on what devices you all are playing on?

    Getting the latest version of the game on the Xbox One is found by going to Games and apps and then Updates. If your friend is the only one having issues joining and he is not offered an update, he will then need to re-install the game.

    Let us know what device you all are playing on and we can see where to go from there.
