Out of video memory, trying to allocate a texture... : error

I've been playing The Ascent since launch on my Xbox One Series S and have been running into a recurring error message, "Out of video memory. Trying to allocate a texture...", after this message is displayed it closes my game. It happens at least 1-2 times while playing solo every hour and is unplayable on multiplayer. I have cleared my Xbox RAM by powering down from holding Xbox button on console for 10-15 seconds. I've also tried lowering the resolution on my TV through my Xbox to see if that would help at all and it doesn't seem to do anything. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game because that doesn't seem to make any sense to me as a fix, considering I think this is a hardware issue of some kind, however I will attempt if someone insists it'll help.

Any information or help would be appreciated, I've done some research and the only thing I'm finding of similarity is with Fortnite on PC.

I have the same problem right now on Xbox One S. What would be better option to try to fix it - reinstalling the game, or resttng the console as mentioned above ?

Probably reinstalling the game can help since this type of error can occur before errors of the game files, but before this you can try the following, sometimes this will solve it

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps
