Out of save data space error 0x80830003 issue- can't play game

Okay, hopefully someone can help me, because this is some ludicrous stuff.

First off, I have 2 hard drives- one with over 1 Tb left, and the internal (where WWE 2k18 is located) has over 100 Gb free.

From what I've read here on xbox.com, each individual game gets its own space, and so far I've uploaded a whopping 8 textures and have what game saves are in the game, so there's no way that should be full. (For comparison, I run an efed on WWE 2k17 and
have hundreds of textures and around 70 created wrestlers.)

So I try to play tonight and it tells me that it's run out of save space and throws the 0x80830003 error code.

I need to know what to do to fix this, because I didn't spend $90 to look at a (not so) pretty icon on my Home screen.

Just to address it and get it out of the way, I saw some guy saying that you need to have digital copies to have more room in the cloud. Well, I have over 170 games, and over 167 of those are digital. (Plus some 30 I own that I haven't bothered installing,
    for whatever that's worth.)

So yeah- can't play my less-than-one-week-old game, and if anyone can possibly help, that would be awesome. I honestly have no clue what else to do.

Just on the off chance, I went through and deleted every DVR recording I had on the system AND all of my recordings that were on Live. Naturally, it did absolutely nothing.

If anyone has any idea, I would be very grateful. Just insanely irritated right now. If no one has any ideas, I'll call XBox support tomorrow, but I don't have high hopes there, as I dealt with them a zillion times back on the XBox 360, and it was always
the same scripted horsecrap with no comprehension of how anything actually runs... hopefully that's changed.

    Thanks in advance, everyone!

    :)

Out of save data space error 0x80830003 issue- can't play game

    Hi!

It seems to be due to a sync problem with cloud. Try clearing the console cache with the

    power cycle
system, then delete your profile from the console and re-create it. Check that the console is not set to "Offline" and start the game. It should sync everything normally.

How can I get my cloud

    Hi 500,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues saving your progress in Forza Horizon 4. Since you're referring to cloud storage, are you getting error code 0x80830003?

If yes, this error code is not related to your local storage but on your "cloud saves" storage. If you are playing Bethesda games or other games with large save files, there is a high chance that you already reached the limit of your cloud storage.

To fix this issue, you will have to permanently delete some of your saved files from the cloud to free up space. You may choose some of those games that you already finished or you're no longer playing. To do this, follow these steps:

On Home, select My games and apps.

Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.

In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.

You'll be prompted to confirm the deletion of this game save data

    Select "Delete Everywhere"

Note: this will delete your local and cloud saved data from the game that you will choose, it can no longer be retrieved once deleted.

    Regards,

Is there any way to recover old save files from Starfield?

    Hi JuliusCeaser25,

Welcome to Microsoft Xbox Community Forum. I understand that you're having trouble with your Starfield save files. I understand how frustrating it can be to lose progress in a game, especially after investing so much time into it. Let's see what we can do to help you recover your save files.

Just to confirm; after deleting saved data and restarting your console, you are now able to fix the error "We can't save more data for this game or app" and you are able to play Starfield. However, the files for your progress on the game was deleted as well and so, you are now prompted to start a new game, correct?

There are a few possible causes for this issue. One is that your Xbox storage is full and cannot save any more data. Another is that your save files are corrupted or incompatible with the latest version of the game. A third is that there is a problem with your Xbox Live account or cloud sync.

To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check your Xbox storage and make sure you have enough space for the game and its save files. You can do this by going to Settings > System > Storage. If you need to free up some space, you can delete some games or apps that you don't use, or move them to an external hard drive.

    2. Check your save files and make sure they are not corrupted or incompatible. You can do this by going to My games & apps > Starfield > Menu button > Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. If you see any files with a yellow exclamation mark or a red X, that means they are corrupted or incompatible and need to be deleted. You can also try to delete the reserved space file, which is used for updates and patches.

    3. Check your Xbox Live account and cloud sync settings. You can do this by going to Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey. Make sure you are signed in with the correct account and that your password is up to date. You can also go to Settings > System > Backup & transfer > Sync my settings and make sure that cloud sync is enabled.

If none of these steps work, I'm afraid there is no way to recover your old save files from Starfield. They may have been overwritten or deleted permanently. However, you can still start a new game and enjoy the game's features and content.

"your xbox is out of space for saved data”

    Hi MangoMeistro,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Xbox. I understand that you are receiving error 0x80830003 whenever you sync your console.

Fallout 4 still wont save my data after a factory reset and reinstall of the game

Hey logan, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Fallout 4 game saves! I can understand how annoying this can be.

The error code 0x80830003 typically points to syncing issues with your Xbox profile or game data. To address this, begin by disconnecting from the internet, then clear the local save data for Fallout 4 on your Xbox One.

This will make sure that your cloud saves remain intact. Once the local data is cleared, reconnect to the internet and give your console time to sync with your cloud saves. This should help resolve the issue if it's related to syncing.

I hope this helps you! Let me know if you have any other questions.
