I recently traded in my Xbox 360 S in towards an Xbox one, and got out my old Xbox 360 (the white one with the 60GB hard drive). I transferred all the content from the 360 S to the white 360, reset the S, and traded it in. All the content is on my white
360, but the games I purchased under my account are no longer playable by other members of my family under their accounts. Their option is to play the trial version or unlock the full game. I did a license transfer as well as:

    • Re-downloaded the games
    • deleted the games and downloaded them again
    • downloaded their profiles
    • downloaded something new to make the white 360 the primary console for each profile
    • unregistered my 360 S
Short of double paying for these games, I have tried everything that was suggested on the Xbox support pages. I have read that if I am signed in and someone else signs in under their profile with a second controller, they can play these games. But that doesn't
seem like something that should need to be done for someone else in my house to play something I paid for.

Is there anything I can do at this point (apart from the above mentioned), to get it so that the full versions of games I purchased are playable by everyone who logs into the 360 with their profile?

    :)

    Arcade games offline

k lets make this simple as can be.

I bought arcade games, which i have quite a few over the years.

I currently do not have internet other then tethering my phone to my laptop to browse basic websites.

I get on my xbox 360 and go to play one of the arcade games i've purchased to see they all say play trial in the menu now.

Last time I was on xbox live it shows that I can play the full versions of the ones I've purchased.

Why do I have to be on xbox live to play the full version of a game I have purchased already???

Full version of a game keeps reverting to the demo version.

I recently downloaded a demo and later that day the full version of the game was downloaded on another profile on my xbox 360. I deleted the demo game since I no longer needed it. When I go into my profile the game will initially show up as the full version,
but once I open the game it reverts to the demo version. All the other games on the console are able to be played on all profiles accept this one game. how do I remove this Demo for good so that I can play the full version on all profiles besides just the
    profile it was downloaded on?

Sorry to hear it. The problem here is that you've changed consoles and the licenses are no longer linked to that console. Because of this other gamertags will not be able to play them unless your tag is signed in.

Please follow the steps at the link below to transfer the licenses back to the other consoles so they can enjoy your games. After you transfer the license then redownload the games again (there's no need to delete them first).

I already did a license transfer to the white 360, and I cannot do another license transfer for four months. On top of that, 360 I transferred from (the black 360 S), is gone. I no longer have access to it.

When you redownloaded the games, was that after you performed the license transfer?

Yes it was. The license transfer was one of the first things I did after moving content to the white 360.

The only thing I can think of is that the transfer didn't work for some reason. Give phone support a call and they should be able to do a manual transfer for you. Click the link below to get the number for your region.

I will give them a call. If they do the manual transfer and it works, will my Xbox need an internet connection after that for the games to work for everyone? With no built-in wifi and it being far from the router, it will be offline after I get this issue
    fixed.

when you purchase digital content on 360, it's licensed to the console used to buy it, for anyone to use online or offline, also to the gamertag that bought it, for you to use on ANY console, as long as you are online. so once you get the license transfer
properly applied, and redownload the games with the correct licensing data to that console, you should not need to be online for others to play the games. you will need a connection at first to redownload everything, but not again after that.

just for your information, it works almost the same on xbox one, except you don't have the ability to have different console licenses on all your content. on 360 you could go to a friend's house and buy something and that would be licensed to their console
and your gamertag. doing a license transfer will take all console licenses and consolidate them to whatever system you transfer to. on xbox one, your console licenses always stay together to one system, which is the one you have set to your Home Console.
again anyone can play games on your Home Console, and you can play on any console online with the gamertag that bought the content. a nice bonus is that you also share your xbox live gold subscription to anyone on your Home Console so they can play online
    multiplayer games as well.
