still i can't change my settings so now i can't access some stuff on alot of games and thats whats making me mad

You can adjust your Privacy & Online safety settings from the console. Since your sons account is a child account you will need to log into the adult account then go into your Settings > under the "Account" section you will see an option for "Family". Once
in the Family section select your sons child account and then Xbox Live Privacy > View details and customize. Then the option that says Game content you would need to set the one for "Seeing and Sharing user created content" to "Everybody" so that he can play
Fortnite!
