Osu1 recovery issue.

Hi there.

Wondering if anyone has any advice on the below issue:

I am using a usb drive to restore the system with the most recent osu1 october file.

When the xbox gets to the end of the 'verification' stage the xbox will turn off.

When the console reboots automatically it will show the same message 'E102 00000C12 80070002

I am trying to determine if my build number has anything to do with this issue. (Un enrolled from insider build a long time ago)

xbox os amd64fre.vb_release_xbox_dev_2019.201007-0000

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried resetting/factory resetting beforehand a few times with same result unfortunateley.

Perhaps i should throw in the towel with this one.

You need to do a factory reset then update withosu

Its a base os not the latest

New osu1 is out fixed my issue right away fyi

Yes I was following the steps, but when I came to "Step 4: Download the Offline System Update file (OSU1)" and was to download the osu1 file, I found the link(www.xbox.com/.../osu1) just
didn't work. So where can I download the osu1 file?

Hello Boog.8, you mention that you tried to recover the account several times, if you filled out the account recovery form but were unsuccessful, you should enter in contact with Xbox Customer Service via chat and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

However, ATO is a similar procedure to the online form, but done by a Microsoft agent, it will need as much information as possible for you to do the procedure.

Each account recovery case is unique, and if you request the ATO, you must wait for a response from Microsoft's investigation department.
