OSU (Offline System Update)

I have followed all the OSU steps for my Xbox One S (not an all-digital edition), it is still not working. This relates to my last post. I have followed the steps correctly and have the correct USB -64GB. I have all the correct software and have tried everything.
The only file on my USB is the $SystemUpdate

I do not understand what is going on and I do not want to pay for my Xbox to be repaired, but right now, I am on the edge of doing so. I can not really play many games on my computer as it does not have the greatest specs, so there is not really anything
to do besides playing small games that may get boring at times. I also have £300+ in games and other things, this is important to me as I have put loads of money into this device.

If someone please could help me, I would really appreciate this as it would mean the world to me.

Thanks for coming to the forums. As you were answered with all the steps on the last post, i will be locking this one as it is a duplicate post. The only thing to do at this point is a repair since the offline update is not working. The only other thing
to do is keep trying the offline update. You can still reply on your first post as it is still open.

Hi jueguini,

Another way to do so is with an Offline System Update, the OSU allows us to update the Xbox console with the latest, most stable version of the Xbox Operating System. Here's how to do so:

Are you in an Insider preview ring?

OSU's cannot be used on a console enrolled in Insiders.

The console must be unenrolled from Insiders prior to attempting an offline system update (OSU).

Basically, if it's an Original Xbox 1, then you need OSU 2 or 3...anything else and it's OSU 1

OSU's (offline system updates) cannot be used by Insiders unless you unenroll the console from the program.
