OS problems?

Vinny above has the right of it. There may have been an issue during the update that a fresh power cycle could simply resolve. Otherwise, a system reset is the next option to consider.

Try power cycle your console: https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/power/restart-or-power-cycle-console

If nothing works, I suggest resetting/formatting the console.

If the power cycle hasnt helped, here's a link on some Troubleshooting a blank TV or monitor that

As a person who builds and upgrades PC gaming systems as a hobby, Re-installing Windows is a bit a last resort and should only really be done once you've run out of other options. Even then, I would recommend a completely clean install, not a repair or re-install over your current OS.

This could be a graphics driver fault. At very least the first thing you should try is clearing the graphics driver using DDU and reinstalling it.

While it's possible to remove drivers using Windows, they tend to leave files and settings behind. DDU removes any previous files, settings and configs.

• Go to NVIDIA's website, download the driver and store it somewhere for later.
  
• Download and run DDU.
  
• Remove your graphics driver and restart your PC. Choose Clean and Restart from inside the App.
  
• Install the NVIDIA driver you downloaded earlier and test your games.

I as well have built my last 6 computers myself and I am mostly self taught thanks to my father.

The install I did was a full system format and fresh reinstall I did it as a last resort

I did use the DDU as suggested but without luck

I did forget to mention this and forgive my forgetfulness this also happened on my last PC

My graphics card on that was a Radeon

I have uninstalled both games cleaned the registray fully of all residuals and fresh install of said games

No luck I am at a stone wall and got nothing else

Any other suggestions would be helpful
