    My xbox was unable to perform the 670 mb update that was first shown upon startup on 6/27. I have tried multiple options and contacted support where we reset console to factory defaults and an attempt to offline update but the 670 mb update would still not go through. I believe that the OS version I am running is that of an Insider member though I have not interacted with the Insider/Preview community in a few years.

    OS Version: 19041.2583.amd64fre.vb_release_xbox_dev2006.2000609-0000



    Currently the only navigable screen I can access is the troubleshoot startup page. I have tried installing offline update OSU1 alone and also OSU2 before but when drive loaded with OSU2 is connected to the console Offline system update option is unavailable.     This is almost certainly a software cock up, not a hardware fault. Microsoft are almost always fast at diagnosing and resolving issues with the Xbox software.

    I think the problem was with the update pushed on 27/02/2020. It is now 29/02/2020, essentially less than 2 days since the update.

    There are several hundred thousand, if not several million lines of code within the three operating systems that work together inside and Xbox One console. Combing through all that and comparing it to the previous code is a huge job.

    Microsoft will get this fixed as fast as humanly possible.
