    Original Xbox One power button not working


    Hello,

    So my Xbox One isn't able to turn on. I've tried all of the methods available out there

    -Unplug & then plug back in after 2min.

    -Unplug all of the wires connected to the Xbox

    -Unplug this unplug that

    None of them seem to be working. The power box shows a flickering orange light whenever I plug the power brick into the console and outlet. Xbox home button does not show any sign of life. No sound, light anything.

    My last resort is to leave the whole thing unplugged for a week or so and pray that it works. I don't want to have to buy a new console or brick. Are there any suggestions regarding this issue?

    hi, since the console has been out of warranty for a long time, i would have the power supply tested by an expert. and then decide if i want it repaired or buy another one.

    Yeah. That's what I plan to do. I don't know where to go from here. Will they fix it up if I brought it back to customer support at the Best Buy I bought it at?

    The console's out of warranty to as I bought it 6-7 years ago.
