    Original Xbox One - Account + Device stuck in Preview Ring, Please Help


    I have had frequent crashes on my XO for many years, it boots up to a troubleshoot screen with option to continue, reset, USB OS reinstall and such,

    I get a black screen if I press continue. I tried resetting, but it would boot to troubleshoot screen again after restarting. I thought maybe there was some dust interfering with electronics in front panel that is triggering the bind and eject method, but it was not that.

    I keep reinstalling the OS using the USB OSU1 file and occasionally it boots to the dashboard, I have been keeping my Xbox in instant on mode for months to avoid restarts, any time I restart or power off the Xbox, it boots to this troubleshoot screen again. I have been doing this for many years, I realized now that it is something to do with having a preview OS on my system.

    I just had a chat with Microsoft Support (chat id or whatever it is called: 1509585021) and they say I am still a preview member even though I have not enrolled my Xbox one for it, I had enrolled many years ago, and promptly removed myself from the program because I didn't want unstable updates. I unenrolled then, few months ago I tried to enroll and unenroll again to make sure if my account was accidently still in Insider Ring. I have followed the steps correctly. Chat support asked me to contact here

    Please help me get off this preview membership, if my account is linked to preview updates, I cant buy myself the new Xbox Series X if I am getting unstable OS

    Short Version : I am a Preview Member even though I unenrolled my device years ago, and did it many times recently again to confirm. My Xbox is crashing to troubleshoot screen whenever I power off or restart the system, tried resetting OS with USB install method and everything, I am still getting pushed preview updates and forced to use instant on always. Please help me get back to public update ring

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.

    Xbox streaming preview

    Project xCloud and the Streaming Preview was only originally available to those who signed up to test it in advance a few weeks ago. As of right now the streaming preview is only for Xbox Insiders who are in either one of the Alpha previews. i don't believe
    it has trickled down to the Beta ring yet, and it will most likely leave its preview stages before it trickles down to the other rings in the Insider Program. By then, the Game Streaming preview will most likely be running in bigger test sessions.
