Original Xbox BC pillarbox bars are not true black even in direct console screenshots

That was the case 3 years ago when LCDs were comparable to plasma. Samsung C580, C650 and C750 were all able to produce identical black levels to Panasonic PDP. But it's no longer the case. Panasonic plasmas are far superior to today's LED-LCDs and the old
CCFL-LCDs.

Unfortunately this seems highly unlikely. The BC program for original Xbox and 360 titles has been discontinued. Even when it was running, very few original Xbox games were made BC and there was always the issue of licenses with these types of games.

The BC program is on-hold (likely now ended). Microsoft have not announced if it will ever be restarted.

Even if does restart, my guess would be this game to be lower down the list.

Unfortunately due to this, the only way to play this game is via an original Xbox console as it was not released on PC and was nit made BC for the 360 either.

Sadly none of the Conflict series of games have been made BC. The BC program ended in 2021, there will be more Xbox 360 or original Xbox games playable on the Xbox One or Series X|S consoles.

All BC 360 and original Xbox games need to be downloaded from Xbox Live - even if you have a disc for the game.

You will prompted for an update if you insert a BC Xbox game. This 'Update' is actually the game recompiled to run on the Xbox One platform.
