Original Xbox Battle Front II Market Place Dowloaded Game File: Xbox 360 failed to download

Bought this game from Microsofts marketplace a few days ago on my Xbox 360. I have communicated to at least 5 support staff. They have had me factory reset the device. Delete OS update reinstall OS update. Delete and reinstall Xbox live account. Clear system
cache. Try downloading on USB. Verified other market place games could be downloaded and played. Verified authentic Microsoft HDD, verified original Xbox disk was playable on console. Verified original Xbox game was downloadable onto HDD. Verified from support
files the game is Xbox 360 compatible. Verified xboxlive regional compatibility. Verified regular 360 game disks can be downloaded to HDD and played.

Every time I attempt to download this game it jumps from 80% to 100% then says cannot be downloaded leaving an Unknown game file with a corrupted file inside. Any help beyond what I have already done would be greatly appreciated.

Black doesn't work.

Just recently purchased the xbox originals "Black" game on the xbox live market place. After a "successful" download, the game will not play. I'ma sad gamer.

@II MOZ II you did not read his post or look at the original xbox game supported list. THPSU 1 IS supported.

Does the Game disc work on a different xbox 360 slim? (At a friend's place for example), If it does then it's something to do with your console.

 

It seems that there is an issue on Microsoft's end with that game file.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do but wait until the game is fixed, or demand a refund.

 

This recently has been a widespread issue with this game and unfortunately at the moment there's no fix. I hope there would be a fix real soon for this.

 

If you read my post you would see cleared system cache is listed.

Did everything in the articles provided. A little annoyed that they are repeats of what was already listed in my original post. This will sound rude but my experience in this forum is that the moderators and ambassadors read the headline then give advice
from a flip book they have on their desk. Clearly they are not reading the posts or paying much attention to what is being said.

Please try to update the console and see if that fixes the console. (game issue)

Roll back:
Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console (Solution 7)

After the update finishes try to Power cycle the console.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the
Xbox button on your controller.

Note If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Been there done that. "Delete OS update reinstall OS update".

 

As of 10/25/2018 the download works I just verified it can be downloaded and played. On the xbox 360 as of today.
