    Original xbox (2001) remove network settings?


    Hello I was wondering if there was a way to remove network settings on the original xbox as I am hoping to sell but it has my personal data in it such as my IP address and my router password. When I try to replace these with random numbers it just says,"The internet address entered is not correct for this setting." and doesnt change it. Is there any way to reset it so the boxes dont have any numbers in them? Thanks!

    Hello Finley, if you are looking to sell your Xbox One Fat console, and you don't want any of your data to stay on the console, just do a factory reset on the console, this will erase all data, accounts, and information from your console.

    1-Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    2-Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    3-Select Reset console.

    4-On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options: Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings.
