Origianl xbox Account vanished

Got a new Xbox after old one broke, tried to sign into my account and it has created a whole new account with a new gamer tag. The account was made for my son and he has a lot of purchased items for fortnite and I have no idea how to recover the original
account. It's definitely the same email address and all the info that was used but the account is just gone. Any ideas?

It sounds like the email address you signed into was not the email address for the account that your son had.

If you know your sons gamer tag you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and talking with a support agent and if they can verify the ownership of the account they can give you the email address that is associated with the account.

This would be the only way that you can get it back unless you can remember the email address that was associated with the account.

Well, halo CE, even if i played it on pc. On the origianl xbox i played first halo 2!

My Origianl Xbox One did that and was running fine. I now have the X and it does not seem to do it.

This is just confusing and hurts my head by now. As I’m certain the one I just made uses the same email as the old one event my original Skype account it’s Skype name is my main email.

The compromised does sound possible as google recently alerted me on my new laptop of the email account needing recovery which I did but that does not explain what happened to my Microsoft account as I got zero emails related to that and I was able to make a new one using the same exact email which is why said weird image above can happen only during the auto sign ins.
