    Orico hard drive


    I recently bought an Orico hard drive device of amazon and read the reviews and people said that it workers with the xbox one and I plugged it in today and the xbox will not recognize a device being added. If I plug it in my computer it will read it though.
    I have tried all the recommended troubleshooting advice but none of them have worked. Any idea on what to do? Has anyone had this problem?

    Xbox 360 USB drive problems

    Hi,

    A hard drive enclosure can be bought for no more than $10 like
    this one    . You put the hard drive in the case, which attaches to the SATA port, put the case lid on and attach it via USB.

    Far more secure than a SATA to USB adaptor. As the adaptor has two connections with either one becoming loose. With the drive inside a case, only the USB can disconnect it.

    I've never tried to recover a corrupted Xbox 360 drive so I can't say. I'm more of a PC gamer now.

    Xbox one loses connectivity when external SSD connected.

    Enclosure is usb 3.0 with uasp. Orico 2139U3.

    Ssd is burst patriot sata III 240Gb with only a 15gb game on it.

    Usb powered.

    Only 1 usb port used.

    I'll try the tinfoil hate method later.

    Is there extra sata III connection in the xbox?
