    Ordering an XBOX ONE kinect vs adapter from the windows store seems odd


    I just bought an xbox one kinect v2 and i want to use it with my windows pc.. So i found I could buy the adapter here: https://www.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-one/accessories/kinect/kinect-adapter.
    It adds to my cart and everything.

    HOWEVER.. if you look at the specific product, it says it's out of stock.. so i didn't proceed with the purchase.

    Can someone tell me if they have stock of the kinect v2 adapter or not?

    Looking for my kinect adapter

    The offer to get a free Kinect adapter as part of upgrading to the Xbox One S
    has already expired (March 2017), so it is no longer possible to get these for free.

    It is still available for purchase in the Microsoft Store.

    Not sure if this is a worldwide issue and if it´s for ever or not. I´m trying to shoot one in germany since weeks, did an order to a shop in Denmark who was the only one with those in stock but got a canncelling mail today. Was going for online support
    than, and the guy in chat gave me a link to microsoft store which seemed to work, but after putting all the stuff into the checkboxes the mission got cancelled as well. Telephone support couldn´t help me out. So now it´s the question, is production over or
    not. On ebay the prices are going for atop 100 eur at the moment with 5 days left I saw... Is that politics by microsoft or what? This is almost not that old machinerie and the use for filming and motion capturing seemed to be very welcome for microsoft to
    have an hype on that stuff... But what´s going on guys?????

    Please follow the steps below to request an adapter from support. Just a heads up that you'll need the serial numbers from your older Xbox One, the Xbox One S and the Xbox One Kinect in order to get a free adapter.

    As you mentioned, you'll need a Kinect Adapter for Windows in order to use a Kinect Sensor with your Xbox One S. You'll need to reach out to local retailers to see if they have available. If you have a local Microsoft Store, they're going to be your best
