I'm sorry to hear about this issue with receiving V-Bucks bought from the Fortnite store.

If you bought V-Bucks from the in game store on your Xbox, then more than likely you purchased it from the Microsoft Store using your account credit, although it is Epic Games responsibility to distribute your V-Bucks into your in-game wallet.

Have you checked your order history to see if the transaction was completed?

To buy V-Bucks, you can follow these steps:

Purchase V-Bucks from the Fortnite store or a trusted retailer.

When you complete your purchase, you will receive a gift card code.

Give the gift card code to your friend.

Your friend will be able to redeem the gift card code in the Fortnite store. Once you redeem the code, the V-Bucks will be added to your Fortnite account.

Need more clarification please. You bought an xbox gift card and tried to purchase V bucks in the fortnite store?

I bought v-bucks with a gift card through the Xbox app. And then i checked fortnite mobile and i didn't receive the v-buck even through my account is linked.

thank you for reaching out to us. this issue you seem to be having is almost certainly a problem with the epic games but i would advice checking if the v-bucks purchase when trough successfully by taking a look at your order history server if so i advice
you to contact epic games as soon as possible to see if this issue could be fixed.

V-Bucks can only be purchased on the Microsoft Store using a credit/debit card or PayPal account.

If you want to get V-Bucks through other methods, then you might have to purchase a gift card.
