Ordered 2k21 Mamba Edition on Next Gen but received standard version and cannot play it

Pre-ordered the 100$ Mamba edition of 2k21 next gen. Did not see the game available in my library. I went into microsoft store. The only version I had access to was the standard version. So I downloaded that. Once the download was complete, it asked me
if I owned the game. It takes me to the store, says "Launch/You own this game" but it will not launch. Very disappointing.

Check your transactions to see if you bought the Mamba Edition for the Xbox One or the Next Gen version. The next gen version includes the standard game for the Xbox One and then you'll get the Series S/X version and pre-order perks when it's released
on that console.

I crash on 2k21 next gen version. Some on cold war. Sometimes even on the dashboard.

Sorry but 2k has not announced cross-play for the game.

Since you have to pay for the game separately on both consoles I doubt they will have Xbox One and Xbox Series X crossplay.

Before someone says If you buy NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Edition you get the Xbox Series X version. Yes, that edition bundles both the Xbox One version and the Xbox Series X version but is not a free upgrade or the same game.

Yes sure but you need the Cross Gen edition! The standard version will not have a next gen update.
