Operencia: The Stolen Sun on Xbox Game Pass PC won't get pass loading screen

I just downloaded Operencia using Xbox Game Pass for PC on Win 10. On first launch, the game showed the Zen logo, got permission to use my Xbox account, and then went into the loading screen with artwork and music. After a few minutes, the loading screen
has a message appear at the bottom to press [Enter] to continue. Wanting to use an Xbox 360 controller, I pressed A and the screen said loading. Then the screen again said "Press A to continue". When I press A, the loading screen says loading again and again
says press A to continue. This looped for several tries before I tabbed out and killed Operencia. I tried restarting the game via Xbox (Beta) app (ver. 1908.1001.5.0) and it did the same thing looping on continue without the Xbox permission step. I also
uninstalled and re-installed the game a few times.

Zen Studios forum suggested checking and logging out/back in to Xbox (Beta) app and the MS store. I use the same account for both. I tried this but it did not resolve the issue.

Win 10 is up-to-date as are my video drivers. Other games play fine including Fortnite (Epic Games Launcher), Crackdown 3 (Xbox Beta), Fallout 4 (Steam), and Madden 20 (Origin).

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB)
16 GB free space on OS drive
80 GB free on game drive

After futzing with my FW, I was able to get the game to load. Thanks for the feedback. I seriously thought I had that sucker paused but it was being weird.

I'm sorry to hear that and it's difficult to pindown exactly where the error is.

Maybe it's up to the gamer account! (If you have already successfully played other XBOX games online, you can ignore the following.)

Sometimes a game doesn't start because it's a child account or the birthdate on your
account indicates that you're underage.

If you're asked to provide an e-signature, you can update your birthdate on
account.microsoft.com/profile.

Sometimes the network is too slow when you log in to the game. If you are only connected via WiFi, please test a cable connection via RJ45.

Sometimes the firewall prevents the game from logging in. Turn off your firewall for testing

I checked and my, very ancient, birthday is accurate on my MS account.

I am using an RJ-45 Internet connection. I get about 25-30 Mbps on average.

I disabled AV and FW and the problem remains. Is there any way to turn on logging or something to figure out why it is stuck on the loading screen?

Open to further suggestions.
