    Open Range (Hotspots) Freedom 4G Modem: MTU problems
    I have been using my Galaxy s8 hotspot for my xbox one but recently when i tested the multiplayer connection it says there is a MTU problem. I have tried resetting mac address, restarting phone and hotspot turning off the xbox. Why would it show this now
    after its been working for so long.

    How do I join xbox live for playing Mine craft, someone keeps telling me it is free but I cannot find a free account anywhere. Please help it is for my son and he wants to play with his freinds but we are not going to pay for a gold account.

    Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes then forget your network and try reconnecting

    MTU error with 4G box

    No there is not a way to change that via a console as MTU is something that is handled by routers not by a client device (devices that connect to a network including game consoles, computers, smartphones etc.).

    If the 4G box doesnt have a way to change the MTU in its settings then there is no other way to change that. Unfortunately 4G internet connections are just more limited that way.
