Open group chat?

Oh, I see. There'll be no option or way to confirm them without a group chat though.

Like when someone confirms me it doesn't invite me to a group chat which is what I want but when I do it invites someone to a chat which I don't want I dont know if i can just confirm them without a group chat

Do you say in multiplayer games? Most in the game party lobby is open, if you are playing in a group your squad is open in audio, see in the game if you have the option to change group audio, or create a group of your own, only those in your group party

Check the status of the Xbox Live service. If you see alerts, wait until the service is up and running and try again.
If you are unable to hear the person you are trying to chat with after joining their group, try these tips:
Make sure your privacy settings allow you to communicate with everyone. Press the Xbox  button to open the panel and select Profile and system> Settings> Account> Privacy and security> Xbox Live privacy. Select View details and customize> Communication and multiplayer, then make your changes.
Mute or unblock the person you're trying to chat with. Press the Xbox  button to open the panel, then select Groups and chats. Select the group to expand the group list, choose the person you want to hear again and select Mute.
