only player ????

this is a new one for me

i was playing kill confirmed multiplayer and the game was 1/4 through when there was a host migration

which happens now and again

now the thing is when it reconnected the message came up enemies forfeiting

the count down began but i was the only player in the map ,, there were both teams player about tags but i was the only player in game

got a free win but it was very strange

Only 1 player allowed in theater?

I don't know if this bothers anyone else or not, but, in Halo 3's theater, you were allowed to have a multiple players in the same lobby and still be allowed to watch the party leader's video. But in Halo Reach and in Halo 4, only you are allowed to watch a video in the theater. Its such a pain to brag about your games when you have to upload your video and have someone download it just to watch a certain part of your match. I doubt its that hard for 343 to program the game to allow multiple people to watch a video while being in the same lobby. I hope they fix it in Halo 5 and beyond.

 

Only play new maps?

Is there an option to only play the new maps when playing MP?

I've had it happen a number of times over the years. Usually a couple of us left on one team, but occasionally only me.

It fooled me once though in dom. Everyone disappeared except for three of us on one team. we capped the flags and just kind of waited it out. I brought the scoreboard up to see if anyone would join..... just sitting around watching the forfeit timer and
the scorebaord when I get shot in the face. In an instant there was a whole enemy team vs us three and we got our butts kicked.

Just enjoy the free win.

 

I can say last night I had an awful time playing, mostly finding people to fill a game and then it migrating or crashing out lost host. But like the new maps.

Usually just a failed host migration. .... sometimes an entire team will back out. In your case you probably became host and noone else was compaitible.

The first time I had it happen was in mw2 and it was almost like cheating. My internet would disconnect from time to time kicking everyone from my lobby if I was host. I would hope its not so simple any more becaue that could have been done intentionally
by someone lag switching. It wasnt intentional, but was my fault since I knew I'd lose connection every half hour.

I had it happen the most in bo2..

 

During Clan wars you will see lots of people (clans) dropping since if they are losing there is no sense staying. Drop and go to a new game since Clan wars only counts wins.

 

^^Gotta keep that KD up, OR if we are gonna lose, you will take the loss too (if we have host). Thats a great mentality and unfortunately the state of competetive gaming (like GBs).
