A failed friend request tells you very little about whether a gamertag is available. Gamertags can't differ only by spaces, yet a friend request only tries the spacing variant you type in. (There's a sticky post in this very forum that talks about
gamertag availability, which will probably answer the next few questions you'd ask, too.)

This happens some times. Some people will tell you to clear your cache and try again. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't. There is really nothing you can do about it. I completed the game in Fracture, and never got the achievement for completing the
game. I was playing Dead Island with a few friends last night. A few hours and dozens of missions later, my friend noticed he had not got the achievement for completing 5 missions in co-op. Our other friend stated that he got it about an hour earlier.

I figured I'd just buy it now - 2 months earlier and £15 less - plus If I want the DLC it'll only be 1200msp when it comes out so it's still cheaper to get it now and enjoy it. Which I really am, Not seeing massive difficulty that everyone talks about but

Haha, my friend rage quit that game too! I wasn't sure which FF since my friend tells me a lot about FF. I just got them mixed up. It was probably one of the earlier FF titles.. dunno, I'll have to ask him. And yes this is the one and only Saber.
