only family organiser cant remove child account?

There is no way to remove a child's account, even if it is the Organizer, because a Parent is required to monitor access. This is provided for by law, therefore, it is by design. That's why your parent can't remove your child account.

In detail, when are you seeing the message "You can't play with content created by others"? What game would it be?

I understand I won't be able to leave the family as I have a child account, and I'm not over 18, but I still don't understand why my dad can't remove me from the family, I've been looking for a while and there are a few people having the same issue, the error message "Only a family organiser can remove someone from the family", but my dad IS the only family organiser.

the issue I was having in games was "You cant play with content created by others", which has limited me from quite a few features, so I tried to change this through Xbox but I couldn't because I was part of a family.

So my dad tried to fix this by changing my content restriction age to 18, which didn't work, and we ended up resorting to trying to remove me from the family group, which also seems to not be working.

I looked around some more and a fix to any one of these issues would help massively,

I also think it would help if I mentioned that my account age is 13, but if there is a way we can change that app either through Microsoft Family or my account settings that would help as well.

As for the issue in-game, I get the error message 'You can't play with content created by others, change your account settings to play', I get it, whenever I try to play with public content, in every game, liveries in Forza, online in msfs, unable to access dovetail live in tsw3, and cities skylines along with many other games. I've tried everything in my power to try and remove those restrictions, and my age restrictions have been changed through Microsoft family there are practically no restrictions on my account at this point, fewer restrictions than on my friend's accounts and none of them have ever had this issue, the only difference would be that they aren't in a Microsoft family group.

I'm sorry you and your dad are having trouble managing Family features from a Microsoft account, however, if you are still a child, you will not be able to leave the family, it is necessary to be in a family and have an Adult and/or Organizer managing your access. This is by design.

Your parent won't be able to remove it if they're not old enough to manage Microsoft account features. Now, if you are an adult, he can change your age to over 18, and thus make you an adult, or remove you from the family group.

Another point, he did not comment on what problems he is having in games. Depending on what it is, it could be something that is released to a child. If not, maybe we can check and try to resolve it, if it's not related to the age restriction.

As my child was also an organiser of the family I had to sign in to their profile and could change their settings on their login. Despite being a child if they’re an organiser it disables parent functions. So anyway I got it working but that’s not the best security feature.

Thanks perhaps as you say removing the account from the family and re-adding them as a member may fix that too.
