ONLY 3 USB PORTS? IS THIS A JOKE?

I just started streaming 3 months ago and I’m have a big problem with the lack of USB ports or the ability to use an usb hub that has external power. What needs ports? My external hard drive, my wireless turle beach headset, my streaming camera, which by
the way ALL needs power and then I have my flash drive for my music because for some ungodly reason Microsoft took away then ability to have my music internally so I’m forced to use a flash drive and they took away 2 ports from the 360 to the x one. So how am
i suppose to enjoy it all but only 3 ports? And when I use an usb external powered hub the console goes [Mod Removed}. I called Microsoft and they had NO solution and they had no explanation explanation for their lacking to a gamers & a streamers needs for
MORE than 3 measly ports! Any solutions from my fellow gamers and streamers??please help.

I prefer the Oblivion forums, having only three regulars there for about 3 whole years was kinda fun.

Game Save being Deleted

Has anyone found a solution to this? For some reason my usb drive keeps reconfiguring itself to its original pc only config. and it deletes all my game saves, which i only had on my usb (use hard drive for on demand games) this is the 3rd time this has happend
and ive used 3 diff usb drives

Hey G PA JAY,

I'm sure Microsoft took a lot into consideration when designing the USB ports for their Xbox and the number of allocations. If you want a comparison the PS4 Pro also includes only 3 USB ports as well. I'm sure this restriction is to keep the consoles running
efficiently and to reduce clunkiness. People are also asking for more slim consoles and that comes at the price of limiting features such as USB ports.

You don't have "the ability to use an usb hub that has external power" - is this because they don't work or because you don't have one available?

I still say we need USB 3 ports for controllers.If you don't know,the 360 uses USB 2 ports,USB 3 ports are backward compatible,to where you can use a USB 3 controller,or a USB 2 controller.So if you have an arcade fight controller that has a USB 2 plug,
you could use that controller on the 720 if it had USB 3 ports.

Any of those ports would work fine, except your USB C port as this is a different connector.

To be honest, I doubt the bandwidth requirement would be high enough to require the use of only USB 3 ports. It should work on a USB 2 without any issues.
