I understand that's a pretty heavy topic to start with but this is getting out of hand and I tried calling support and they just recommend me to come here.

My friend is currently facing sever online harassment, threats of doxing and the violator is soliciting pornography without a proper license through The Elder Scrolls Online's in game currency (gold) at 25,000 per person for the pictures they say they have,
as well as offering her real life information such as address.

I'd prefer to handle this situation privately if you could provide me a phone number or email to start a back and forth with I would appreciate it.

All of the cynical posters that are spewing nonsense like "play a board game" and "change security settings" are missing the point that there are perverts on XBL that need to be tracked down and removed... The fact that there is nothing being done other
than "blocking and ignoring" is disgusting as well as sad. It shakes my confidence in how Microsoft handles it's customers safety... I hope they figure out a better way to keep these sick individuals from contacting anyone, let alone minor children...

Your friend would need to file a complaint on the user via the console. That is the only way to report them to the enforcement team.

That's funny because support said to come here and request contact with the enforcement team using the forums.

The enforcement team stopped using the forums over a year ago. Unfortunately phone and chat support still believe they use them. Even when they did, it was for information about why you were suspended. They've never taken complaints via the forums, only
through the console.

Unfortunately that is simply not true. You are a player just as I am. I have seen many women abused and disempowered online just as I’ve seen men.

The academic work being done and articles being written are highlighting more and more with each article published the toxic environment that has evolved in the community, and each of us that is a part of it can either seek to make it better or not.
