    hello Xbox community I need help to resolve a problem and was reffered here. Yesterday my little cousin was scammed for a 25$ xbox card that i had purchased for him he is an online scammer trying to sell his account (fortnite) i have his possible number
    and possible gamertag that he used the code. I have the code with me and the reciept and i need assistance to provoke this from happening please!

    Unfortunitly there is not a lot that microsoft can do. You can report the account , but as far as getting to money back or any other action i hate to say it but we cannot take any action on this issue

    You will have to use the report feature on that persons profile. We can not help here on the forums, sorry.

    Hey Angel,

    Thank you for reaching out! Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do about a stolen gift card. Going forward, I would suggest helping your little cousin redeem the code on his account to prevent him from getting scammed again. You can report the other player
    through both our system as well as Epic's since account selling is against the terms of service. Hope this helps! :D

    RIPPED OFF BY XBLIVE 8MONTHS OUT OF 12MONTHS

    Problem is that you got hackers and scammers online trying to randomly generate codes to get free online, so whoever happens to buy the code gets to suffer because of them. I wouldn't blame Microsoft at all, I'd blame the pirates and that.
