Online playable?

Okay. When I play a call of duty game for awhile it starts to disconnect me off xboxlive. I thought it was just the servers on that one game (Black Ops 2) so i went on Modern Warfare 2 with some friends and it was good for a little while but now as
soon i even try to get into a lobby it disconnects me and won't let me back until i turn my xbox completely off for awhile. How do i fix this problem, because it's getting to the point where i'm going to give my services else where. I mean i can play in private
matches but not if i want to play search.. It only happens in call of duty soo whats the deal?

Is there an easy way to view who of your friends is online and what they are currently playing, I thought xbox.com would allow you but it just says playing Xbox One

I don't think you can on Xbox.com. However, you can on your Xbox One and the Smartglass app.

 

There could be a number of causes for this. Since it is on multiple call of duty games, it could be an error with their servers. It could also be on your end. Internet latency, and connection issues can come from your ISP and are often temporary. You can
power cycle your router, and additionally with most ISPs you can web info for issues with that provider.

With games that we were running this weekend there were no issues. Try to wait it out, or research on your end, or your ISP.
