Online Newbie - How do you talk to other players

As a newbie to online gaming how do I talk to someone else in Destiny, who is not in my friends list?

Its not very nice when someone asks you to join them in a game and you don't know how to reply?

Can someone please help

Trying to talk to other online players in fortnite

I was wondering how do I talk to other players. Do I need a certain headset or can I use any. N if I can use any how do I set it up.

It depends on your situation. If you want to talk to other players using Destiny's comms system, they'd need to be in your fireteam, and you can invite them by selecting them and clicking Invite to Fireteam from the menu (if you're stood next to them in
game), or pausing to bring up the customisation etc menus, then going left to your friends/player list and doing it that way.

Alternatively, you can invite the player(s) to the Xbox Party chat, in which they'd be able to speak directly to you - though this can be an issue if you then both go into a game in a fire team together, in which case you're better off both leaving the party
and continuing communication through the fire team chat. Hope this helps. SxF.

If it is any consolation most people do not judge accounts based off of how many years are listed under the belt anynmore... veteran players create new accounts all the time now so the years reflected can't really be used to judge someone as a newbie anymore.
I'm sure your body of knowledge and the games youve played and gamer score are reflection enough that you are not a newbie.

II personally play gears of war 4 and halo and I'm a total newbie yet I don't have negative reports like 99.9% of live players so ho w do you explain 99.9% of players not having issues

You said it. Because you are a newbie yet and cannot kill all team by ur own. So no bad evaluation from haters.

Become a competitive player on Overwatch or GOW 4. U will finally understand.

play a better game? well there is not alot of option other than Battlefield, and for a newbie entering that it's not friendly at all, sniping, and level 50s make it very hard, i gave up after a while. Medal Of Honor is dead online, with less than 1000 players
online...and you are practically made of paper where a single shot will kill you. (Does anyone still play perfect dark lol)

OH god how can i forget Crysis 2, possibly the best FPS of the year!

FEAR 3 is good to go too some really good online modes! b

I tend to get annoyed as most people mess up the image i have in my head or just destroy anything/nick equipment, so when i enter a half decent world on a friends game i tend to go make my own creation.
