Online Harassment. I've blocked this person yet I still get a message

I'm not sure what to do. It could be nothing but the site hasn't been much help.

Block player function not working

I’ve been receiving some hateful messages from this one person in particular(up to threatening my family) and he recently made an alternate account to harass me more. I’ve blocked him on the new account after more messages, yet after a game I had with him
again on Overwatch he still can message me. I checked again to see if I had the guy still blocked(on both accounts) and he was, yet was able to harass me yet again. Is there something I can do?

Don't retaliate. You say they do "nothing" yet you've mentioned people get banned for retaliation.

I've blocked a few users and never heard from them again. Also, if you block someone and then send them a message while they're blocked, it automatically unblocks them leaving the door open to harass you again.

I do apologize for the inconvenience with the issues you have been running into with the other player. Please remember that calling out other players on the Forums is against the

Xbox Forums Guidelines.

As for the messages that you are receiving, I would just advise that you continue to report the player along with messages if they do continue, and of course go ahead and view the
Enforcement websites "How Do I" section for further information.
