Does anybody know if you can play games (discs,) on an xbox one x, without being online in any way shape, or form ?

And ESPECIALLY without creating an account ?

What error message are you receiving when you're disconnected? What games i this happening in? And can you provide more information about 'rescuing' a friend's profile?

what if they have to console, like i said same thing happen to my brothers friend.

 

I know you can play games with the disk in there but the games usually require a sign in of an account.

 

As far as i know, you need to have an account to use the save function.

Otherwise the game doesn't know what user is playing .

 

I don't THINK you can do both. But obviously the accounts Gamertag may have to change if you aren't connected to the internet while making it.

The game doesn't need to know anything - it's my private console & game.

You mean microsoft won't know ?

Hello Sam,

There is a way!

In order to do so, there would need to be a password save done on the console.

This would be a one time password save through the Settings.

Access Account settings, and find Sign-in, security & passkey.

From here scroll to the right and select Customize.

Look for the save password option.

You can play games offline but you will need an account to enable saving
