Online Games Problem

Is there a specific error message and error code you are receiving when you try to connect online? Error codes generally look similar to 0x0000000 or XBOS-0000. That will help us narrow down what the issue may be. If you recently purchased Xbox Live Gold
but the Xbox One console does not recognize it, try
removing and downloading your profile on your Xbox One.

Where is your router situated and how far are you away from it in the room you want to use the WIFI in and do what @NewBLackSmurf says when you are connected to the WIFI, it will give us a good indication of whats happening.

I would say do it through your console though, run a multiplayer test under settints/network and then when it gives you the "all good" hit all your bumpers at the same time, it gives you a pretty good details view.

Try this if you are wireless as it might be a NAT issue.

I have this issue as well so here is how I fixed it. (seen on YouTube video).

1 :- First go into the settings menu and select network. If you see moderate or strict NAT try this.

2 :- Run the test multiplayer connection and let it go through the process.

3:- When it is done and the continue comes up press all 4 bumper buttons together until another black screen with upload/down load stats etc comes up.

4:- In the part that says Detailed Nat Information wait a few minutes until it finishes getting your NAT info.

5:- If it comes up with telling you about being behind a cone NAT you are good to go and can press A to exit back to the main settings page and your NAT should now be OPEN. If not try running steps 2 to 5 again. I check my NAT every time I go to play a game
every day and this seems to fix my issue at the moment although if you haven't played for a few days it will need to be done again.

This has sorted my issue at the moment as I am not a computer wiz so do not like messing with ports and other things on my modem/router as I do not think that the issues are entirely the modems/routers fault as I never had these issues with my Xbox 360 on
the same network and still do not.

Please note at the time of publish there is a error with Xbox live that might be causing you issues if you have a open NAT. It will tell you what under your NAT info in the main Network screen.

Please share your network info under Xbox settings
