Online game troubles

Is it only Game Pass games that are affected, or are your owned games (whether disk or digital) crashing as well? Can you successfully access cloud gaming on your account?

Perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable (ideally from both the wall outlet and the console itself if possible) and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting everything to completely reset the power supply, then see if you can launch the games again.

What games are you encountering the skipping in? If you are using a Mode that has Xbox LIVE modes enabled, (Such as matchmaking) then you may encounter Connection troubles, and experience 'lag' or network disruption, that may,
or may not be on your end. However, you are saying that you are encountering these problems in Singleplayer modes, and repetitiously. which certainly isn't supposed to happen.

Do you have more than one computer or XBOX hooked up?Run a speed test and post here. It could also help if you Copy the game to the HDD to reduce CD read time.

Completely agree £500 for a a half built console £55 for a game that doesnt work as it should.Ive played Ryse,COD Ghosts, BF4 and Forza5 everyone of them has game wasting problems. All forums say " its early it will be fixed" but thats not good enough. Theyve
threw this together to be out time in time for christmas snd the games were rushed to be launch titles, thats why i think there are only about 12 games released,the rest are holding off til spring hoping microsoft will sort themselves out.
