Online communications unavailable

Hello

I have been having the same issue for going on a year now. I am unable to speak to online players or party guests, but i am able to hear them. I was hoping it was a software flaw that would be addressed in an upcoming update, however i am still having the
same issue. I have purchased new controllers and new microphones to no avail. This is a very frustrating issue being an avid online multiplayer gamer. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Unmute my guest account mic!!

Hey,

A guest account only has the entitlement to play online it doesn't have any communications entitlements so you are unable to unmute the mic as the service is unavailable

ok so I got a communication ban because of a troll. But why do you take my account down to being absolutely unavailable. I'm just trying to watch crunchy role but I can't because you full banned me not communication banned me

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your issue. You may need to check your consoles connectivity and also, your NAT type plays a big role in how you connect to other users. You will need an open NAT type without any extra listings beneath it (Double,
Cone, or Teredo errors). You can find your NAT type in your Network settings. You will also want to check your Detailed Network Stats on the page as well, on the right. You want a solid download and upload speed, 0% Packet Loss, and solid latency for online
