Online Co-op with guests?

Me and a friend are going to be firing up some co-op over live soon. We both have out own accounts. Just wondering if because it's not local, can we add a guest profile as well to have 3 people playing?

Co-op Crap Games. All of Them

I prefer online co op over co op on one console. Everyone gets their own tv and averyone can chill how they want .

Also co op is best with people you actually know .

So, I just tried this and in both Co-op and custom games it was kicking out my friend and his guest. I understand for co-op because I found out about the 2 player limit but can anyone shed light as to why it was kicking my friend and the guest out of a custom
game?

I'm pretty sure FIFA 15 discontinued offline co-op. There are still some modes (online) where you can play with a guest. When controller 1 is selecting their side, the guest account should hit "Y" on the controller to join.

If your friend has a Gold membership and the game offers split screen co-op then you can also play online with them on the same console, although sometimes you can drag a Guest account on with you but they will not be able to communicate online

So it says I can play co-op, but I need to start a party..... I don't want to play online, I want to play split screen with my wife (even as a guest). I'm thinking it's not possible.

What game would you be trying to play with local co-op, have you checked if it has local co-op or online only?
