Discus and support Online and story mode unable to play in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Just got the game and it's completely installed. At 101% actually. It says ready to start.     Online and story mode unable to play


    Just got the game and it's completely installed. At 101% actually. It says ready to start. But story mode and online is still in red and I'm unable to play either option. I've tried turning on and off, unplugging console but nothing.

    I want to play red dead redemption two I bought but it want let me download story mode

    RDR2 Story is a DLC for the Online mode...so you need to own the online mode to be able to play the story

    Red Dead Online was removed from Game Pass last month. If you are trying to play Story Mode, that won't work currently unless you have purchased Red Dead Online. Story Mode is just an add-on for Red Dead Online. You need both to play Story Mode.

    Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode (Xbox Series X/S)

    You need GTA Online to play Story Mode. On the Series X|S Story Mode is DLC.

    You can play GTA 5 offline but you can only play story mode or single player mode not online. You will get the same things without being online in story mode but you will not be able to play online
    or use any of the options that are under the Online tab in the pause menu

    Story mode is an add-on to Red Dead Online. You would need to own that game in order to play story mode.
