Ongoing WWE Network App Problems

Though the WWE Network App is now functioning, there are still a number of problems regarding access to content- WWE.com explained some of these as relating to Parental Controls, but those have never been enabled on my account so I don't believe they're
at the root of this.

-There is no search function.

-WCW and ECW Pay-Per-Views are not listed, save for a few installments of The Great American Bash (because the WWE staged a few after purchasing the former.) They are available on PC and other devices.

-The "Select Year" button does not seem to work for some WWE Pay-Per-Views, notably ones that have recent entries- I cannot, for example, access Wrestlemanias before 29, the Royal Rumble before 2014, etc. Clicking on the button sometimes chimes but otherwise
brings no results.

-The app sometimes freezes the system outright.

Since I have no problems viewing Network content on my laptop, I'm inclined to think that the problem lies on your end and not on the Network's. I realize there was probably a rush to get a working version uploaded when the Network was initially completely
inaccessible, but surely it shouldn't take too long to at least make all the content browseable or include even a rudimentary search.

WWE app is out.

It's good that the app came out for the One, and sooner than originally announced. What';s not good, is that it doesn't work properly! I was excited to download it and start watching the WWE Network on my big screen, but a lot of the old Raw episodes simply won't play. That is the main reason for me purchasing the WWE Network. I'm not sure if it's the app on the Xbox, or a problem with the WWE servers, but I don't remember having this problem while accessing the network from my PC.

 

WWE App not letting me sign in

I think the problems with the Xbox 360 app are due to the idiotic way they decided to implement WWE Network on Xbox 360. Yesterday morning I went on the XBL App marketplace to look for the WWE Network app, and it wasn't there. What I suspected turned out
to be the case:

They implemented WWE Network as an update patch for the existing WWE app. This causes a problem that I don't think WWE has even considered yet, (based on reports from lordsofpain.net anyway.) See, the pre-existing WWE app on Xbox 360 was exclusively for
viewing WWE PPVs you would pay to watch ala WWE.com PPV webcasts. Therefore an account for viewing those old format PPVs and an account for WWE Network are not quite the same thing. I believe someone *** up and did not configure the "updated" version of the
WWE app to check account details as they pertain to WWE Network, rather than the previous account credentials needed for viewing the old format PPVs.

They could have avoided this whole mess by just releasing an entirely separate WWE Network app. I'm baffled that these morons haven't figured this out yet.

I have checked the Xbox Live services alert, and it is all working fine and there is no problems underlined. I would try uninstalling the application and re installing the application and see if the problem persists. I would also like to know what Operating
system you are using on your PC. And would recommend making sure the application is fully supported on that Operating System

.
