OneGuide Service provider (Rovi) does not take into account area/zipcodes (Their Response ...

Below is the exchange I had with ROVI in regards to how they list channels to the Xbox One OneGuide. This system is inherently broken as most of the listing in my & many areas have channels that are not even receivable OTA. I have submitted 3 help tickets,
submitted errors through Xbox One -> One Guide -> Troubleshooting & nothing has ever changed. Mostly no response given at all.

We produce OTA lineups for each major city. Not by zip codes. Cable lineups are by zip code.

Sorry for the trouble. But for those people inbetween, we need to leave the OTA stations in.

Just curious but don't towers usually only transmit out about 60 miles or so ... The zip code 53228 is >70 miles from even the outskirts of both Green Bay & Chicago (90+ miles from their center) .
Since your service separates by zip code would this not be a case where those stations would be removed from the listing at 53228 (+ surrounding zip codes) but be added to places within 60 miles from either.
For example: 53142 from Chicago or 53015 from Green bay.
As an end user, to have channels listed that have no possibility of reaching an area make it difficult to use a service such as One Guide in Xbox One where about half the channels do not come up and are not able to be filtered out.

Because Milwaukee is between Chicago and Green Bay, there are people who receive both Milwaukee and Green Bay (or Chicago) stations and we keep those in the lineup for them.

If there are stations that are no longer transmitting, please let us know which ones and we will remove them.

2.1, 3.1, 5.1, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 9.1 ... + many more are wrongly listed as Milwaukee. Most of these seem to be Chicago or Green Bay area stations.

Centurylink Prism wrong Oneguide lineup

I have Centurylink Prism TV, but when I enter my zipcode ([Mod Removed]) for OneGuide setup, it does not list Centurylink Prism as a cable/satellite provider. Any suggestions?

 

Cannot Find TV provider.

The same thing happens to me when I try to setup OneGuide. My zipcode 11234 says no providers found in my area. FIOS
