Discus and support Oneguide Needs Updating for Rogers Scarborough in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; At the end of August TSN expanded to 5 channels, and Rogers changed the channel listings to make room.     Oneguide Needs Updating for Rogers Scarborough


    At the end of August TSN expanded to 5 channels, and Rogers changed the channel listings to make room. The Oneguide still has the old channel listings.

    I've cleared the Oneguide, but it's still coming up with the old channels. Am i doing something wrong or is Oneguide just not updated yet?

    Xbox OneGuide Missing / Wrong Channels

    Hi, I live in Ontario and have set up my Xbox One to my Rogers cable provider. There are a few channels that are listed incorrectly on the OneGuide.

    Rogers changed a few of the channels 6 months ago but it looks like the OneGuide is using the older channel listings. Who should I talk to in updating this?

  3. OneGuide for Rogers PVR (Canada)

    When using a voice command to go to a specific channel (xbox, watch comedy network), it changes to the correct channel but it brings up the Rogers PVR search window which blocks the screen. Then i need to press "EXIT" on the Rogers PVR remote, which essentially
    negates the voice command feature because I need the remote in hand any way.

    I would assume the voice command invokes an IR blast to the remote which is making the remote hit multiple buttons. Any thoughts? Other than that, the TV integration is fantastic, I just cant use a voice command to change channels yet

    If that doesn't work then perhaps Rogers has not submitted the new line up of channels to the app. You could perhaps try contacting their support department to see if they know anything about it.

    Thanks for the advice. I went into settings, cleared out everything and still the old channels remain.

    I'm guessing it's a Rogers issue, but their support wouldn't know what I'm talking about. I'll just have to wait I guess.

    Anyone else seeing this issue?

    I have my NextBox plugged into the Xbox One, but the TV listings are not showing. Is there something I'm not doing right? I went through the steps, but nothing shows up.

    Please fix this, most of the channels are wrong, I've cleared my Xbox one one guide but still its wrong.. This is suppose to be an all in one media device, if you can't get partners to do their part then why would you advertise this product in Canada? Its
    useless with all he channels that I use being wrong.... I own two XBOX ones, one as a media device for the livingroom but you guys are failing hard.... I am a 11/12 year XBOX live original beta tester with this account and I'm very disappointed at the promise
    of an all in one media gaming device, but you can't get this simple problem fixed.

    Hire ambassadors to voulenteer to send you an updated channel list instead of relying on Rogers which doesn't care.... Have a feature to report the channel is wrong and if enough people report the same thing it gets changed.......

    I would gladly volunteer to do this but I doubt anyone at Microsoft really cares because if they did they wouldn't of made the burden on Rogers for the update. Why should rogers pay people to update a service that's not theirs... The One Guide service
    is a Microsoft service, thus Microsoft should be the one making sure the channels stay up to date...

    No excuses for being as slow as molasis,,,

    There is a feature to report the channels as being wrong. When the channels are listed incorrectly on the screen hold the Guide button on the controller and then choose Report Issue. It will provide a screen shot with your explanation so the dev's can
    see what the issue is.
